Brittany and the Atlantic coast
Hotel spa consultant in Brittany
Are you creating a spa in your Breton hotel, or upgrading the one you have? I’m a consultant in hotel spa openings and operations. I work on the concept, treatment menu, procedures, team and post-opening follow-up.
Brittany is home. I’m based in Finistère, and it was in Rostrenen that I created the spa at the Jeanne & Jules hotel before becoming its Hotel Manager. I can easily come on site, as often as the project requires.

4 and 5-star hotels are growing fastest
From April to September 2025, tourist stays in Brittany rose 5.7%, according to Insee. Hotels recorded 5.1 million overnight stays, up 4.3%, and 4 and 5-star hotels did even better, with 1.3 million stays and growth of 14.3%. Foreign guests reached a record 4.8 million overnight stays in campsites, hotels and other collective accommodation. These Insee figures are provisional.
Over 2024, Breton hotel occupancy stood at 57%, and French guests accounted for 84% of hotel stays. A hotel spa in Brittany lives first with French guests and nearby clients it can bring back outside the season.
02
Thalassotherapy, seasonal staff and local clients
Brittany has 9 of France’s fifty or so thalassotherapy centres, whose guests are 97% French. A hotel spa here is compared with that established offer, and benefits from stating what sets it apart: its size, its intimacy, a direct link with the stay.
Employment follows the season. In 2019, the region had more than 99,000 seasonal contracts, more than three in ten of them in accommodation and food service. A spa with a small team has to run with well-prepared summer reinforcements.

What I did at Jeanne & Jules, and what I bring
I joined Jeanne & Jules four months before opening, as Deputy Hotel Manager. With a single treatment room, every decision had to count: positioning, menu, offers and forecasts had to attract staying guests and give local residents a reason to make the trip. I then set up the software, ordering, procedures and maintenance, before taking over as Hotel Manager.
On a project in Brittany, I apply the same method at the scale of your property. I build a menu suited to the treatment rooms and the team, offers for local clients, clear procedures and a dashboard to track performance after opening.
My full method is described on the hotel spa consulting page.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work across Brittany?
Yes, in all four Breton departments and along the Atlantic coast. From Finistère, I can come on site for meetings, interviews, test days and the first days of opening.
Which languages do you work in?
French, and English if the hotel welcomes international guests or has an international team.
How does an assignment work remotely and on site?
I always start on site to see the property and meet the team. The documentation then moves forward remotely, and being close by lets me come back more often than elsewhere during testing and opening.
