Hotel spa consultant in Quebec
Are you opening a spa in a hotel or inn in Quebec, or reviewing the one you have? I’m a consultant in hotel spa openings and operations. I work on the concept, treatment menu, procedures and team.
I’m based in Finistère, France, and travel to Quebec for projects. I start with a site visit, then the work moves forward remotely, with return trips for the stages that need them.
01
Guests who are mostly from Quebec
Quebec welcomed 63.3 million visitors in 2025, including 27.9 million tourists, according to the Ministry of Tourism. Of these tourists, 18.6 million were Quebecers, 4.7 million came from other provinces, 2.6 million from the United States and 2 million from other countries. In Montreal, more than 470,000 visitors came from France.
Summer weighs heavily. From May to August 2025, commercial accommodation occupancy reached 70.1% across the province. The Quebec City region reached 84% over the season and 91% in August, and Montreal had more than 90 days above 80% over the year. A hotel or inn spa has every reason to build an offer for nearby clients, who come back outside these peaks.
02
A spa market that is already well supplied
Bonjour Québec lists more than 125 spas in the province, several of them Nordic spas. The data is old, but it shows that hotel spas have long shared their clients with specialist spas.
In this context, a hotel spa has to state precisely what it adds: the link with the stay, the quality of treatments, a smooth journey between the front desk and the spa.

What I bring to a spa in Quebec
I built the treatment menus for the spa of a palace hotel in Switzerland and of an independent hotel in Brittany, and contributed to the menu of a mountain hotel in Méribel. In Brittany, with a single treatment room, the spa had to attract staying guests and local clients, and it did.
On a project in Quebec, I define the target guests and the spa’s role in the hotel or inn with you, then build the menu, procedures and guest journey. On an existing spa, I start with an audit of the spaces, menu, tools and figures.
My full method is described on the hotel spa consulting page.
Frequently asked questions
Do you travel to Quebec?
Yes. I come on site at the start of the project, then for the stages that need me there: menu presentation, team training, test days and opening.
Which languages do you work in?
French with management and the team, and English if the property welcomes English-speaking guests.
How does an assignment work remotely and on site?
The first visit is about understanding the property, the team and the project. I then work remotely, with regular check-ins scheduled around the time difference, and come back for the launch.
