Hotel spa consultant in Paris

Are you opening a spa in a Paris hotel, or does yours need to win back its place against the spas of neighbouring hotels? I’m a consultant in hotel spa openings and operations. I work on the concept, treatment menu, procedures and team.

I worked in Paris for several years as a freelance make-up artist before training in spa. I’m now based in Finistère, Brittany, and come to Paris for projects, with a site visit at the start.

13 palace hotels and 82% occupancy

Paris has 13 of the 33 hotels awarded the palace distinction in France in 2026. Its hotels averaged 82% occupancy in 2025, with an average rate of 239 euros, according to In Extenso. The same firm counts 160 hotels and residences opened in Île-de-France between 2022 and 2025, and nearly 10,000 of the 13,500 rooms added in recent years are outside Paris.

In a market this dense, a hotel spa is compared with those of the palace hotels nearby. The concept and menu have to say precisely what guests will find here, with an offer the team can deliver every day.

02

International guests, and Parisians to win over

The region received more than 23 million international visitors in 2025, led by Americans (2.8 million), British (2.5 million), Italians (1.6 million) and Germans (1.5 million). From April to September 2025, non-residents accounted for 67.9% of overnight stays in Paris collective accommodation, hotels included, according to Insee.

A Paris hotel spa therefore lives with guests passing through and with local clients who may come back every week. Each group expects a different journey, different opening hours and sometimes different treatments.

What I bring to a spa in Paris

At the Villars Palace in Switzerland, I built the offer of an 800 sqm spa for palace guests. In Brittany, at Jeanne & Jules, I built a menu for hotel guests that also won a loyal local clientele.

On a project in Paris, I define the target guests and the spa’s role in the hotel with you, then build the menu around the treatment rooms and the team. On an existing spa, I start with an audit: spaces, menu, guest journey, tools and figures.

My full method is described on the hotel spa consulting page.

Frequently asked questions

Do you travel to Paris?

Yes. Paris is a few hours by train from where I live. I come on site at the start of the project, then as often as each stage requires.

Which languages do you work in?

French and English. Guest and team materials can be written in both languages.

How does an assignment work remotely and on site?

The first visit lets me see the property, the team and the hotel. I then work remotely on the concept, the menu or the audit recommendations, with regular check-ins. I come back for presentations, team training and the launch.
